Nov 28/08 - Its cold in here
Rightnow it is winter inside the drop-in. You are wonderin how that could be? Didn't we just say that is a new warm air distributing system is in place and running smoothly...A.K.A. the furnace ductwork? Yes, but we now have a gaping hole in our backwall. Don't panick, we are currently replacing our back door with a bigger and to code door for public buildings. Hopefully the hole will be filled with a door by the end of the day.
Also, as far as paying for our renovations, we have fully paid off the ductwork and have started putting money aside for the kitchen project which is also now complete. You should really check it out, I look pretty good in an apron. Some people have even dared to suggest that I should be the Morris YFC Masscot.

Nov 12/08 - Renovations are comming along!
So, things are getting done! Our duct work has been fully installed and are now in a warmer and quieter environment. The cabinets should be done by the end of the week.

Oct 23/08 - We're Back!
Sorry to those of you who have been faithfully checking our website and have left dissapointed by our lack of updates. My computer just arrived back from being repaired. The hard drive had crashed roughly two weeks ago. Thankfuly all the YFC documents were able to be recovered.
We're back and ready to fill you in on all the action thats been going on here at YFC Morris.

Oct 7/08 - First night of drop-in!
Food, prizes, new and old faces! Last night the drop-in was the place to be. We were excited to see such a large energetic crowd out for our first night of the new drop-in season. I think its only going to get carzier. We still need more volunteers. Contact us if your interested! Stay tuned for pictures!

Sept 27/08 - SOUL'D youth confrence (pics)
Its 11:30pm and I'm hot, tried and sore. Just arrived home from the Sould youth confrence in Altona. We brought a crew of about ten youth down there. It was an awesome time filled with great music, games and a challenging message. We heard from speaker Mike Gazardo, who challenged the youth that to experience all greatness and promises of God they needed to fully hand they're lives over the him. Over half of the youth went forward to make commitments to Jesus. The youth workers all got to pray for and encourage kids who went forward. I think everyone is "sould" on it for next year.

Sept 25/08 school promo pics
Yo, Jack here. Well Brendon and I spent the day,
the whole day at school today. We had the best
of both worlds, hanging in the hallways without
teachers telling us to get back to class. We
gave out almost 200 bags of chips, even a couple
of students actually got a bag. If you are a
teacher reading this, I am just joshin ya. We
really did give away tons of chips though.
Connecting with all the youth was the bomb, but
the best part was, having full access to the
staff lounge. Someone even almost called me sir.

Okay, so welcome to our blog. Here is the
spot where you can keep current with the day to
day activities at the dropin and hear cool
stories of how God is working in our lives.
Currenlty Jack and I have been preparing for
drop-in to start in Octorber. This includes
promotion, schedual planning and volunteer
recruitment. Please keep praying for Gods wisdom
in shaping our fall programing and that he will
provide us with passionate loving volunteers.
