一、Business

二、Overview
1、Automatic Weather Observing System (AWOS) provides six elements of conventional weather around the airport runway (wind direction, wind speed, temperature, humidity, pressure, precipitation), runway visual range, cloud height, weather phenomena and other sensor data, as well as the corresponding monitoring and automation software integration system. It is one of the necessary infrastructures in modern aviation system to ensure flight safety and improve flight operation efficiency through high-precision and highly reliable real-time weather data.
2、The difference between "AWS" and "AWOS" :
(1) "AWS" is a simple set of weather observation equipment, which only provides and measures six elements of conventional weather data (wind direction, wind speed, pressure, temperature, relative humidity and precipitation) and system software around the airport runway.
(2) "AWOS" can not only provide and measure the six elements of conventional weather data around the airport runway, but also provide the runway visual range, cloud height, weather phenomenon and other sensor data, and is equipped with a powerful monitoring and automation software integration system.
三、Characteristic
1. Monitor the weather data of six elements (wind direction, wind speed, pressure, temperature, humidity and precipitation), runway visual range, cloud height data, weather phenomenon and other sensor data 24 hours a day.
2. Collect weather data in real time, and provide visual graphics and voice alarm prompt in time after exceeding the threshold.
3. Powerful software functions and simple software interface.
4. Communication mode: wired (optical cable or telephone cable) and wireless dual backup communication mode (optional).
5. Power supply mode: AC and DC power supply.
6. Aluminum alloy outdoor waterproof case is adopted, which is corrosion resistant, waterproof and moisture-proof.
7. Continuous working for 24 hours, working stability ≥ 15 years.
8. Anti interference technologies such as lightning protection and noise reduction, electromagnetic compatibility, etc. are used to operate in various adverse weather environments, with an average time between failures ≥ 10000 hours.

八、Installation Engineering
(1)In September 2021, “Zhuhai Bright Aviation” completed the supply, installation,commissioning and training of equipment for the "Automatic Weather Observation System" at Yutian Airport in Xinjiang, China. WAOS equipment at the south of the runway (ILS glide slope) is shown in the figure below.
